Need Help (With Photos)

There is a guy selling 6 different Jordan Star 85 "1984 Gold medalist" cards and claims he's had them since he was a kid. But I can't really find any of them on eBay and think that they might be Shop At Home cards but unsure. To me they just look too perfect and a few cards I'm unsure about. Gonna post all photos of all 6. Can someone please let me know if all the cards are real, authentic and what each is worth if authentic. Thanks

New to any forums discussing cards. Not new to collecting. But I haven't collected in years. It appears the cards I collected over 30 years ago have value. I am the only owner of this collection but was gifted some cards by my brother so every card I own is authentic and I know the grading system since forever. I have many, many cards from 1961. One of those cards appears to be a pretty easy PSA 9 or 10 Billy Williams but I am not sure yet. For the first time ever I am going to send a card to be graded by PSA. This will be my test card. Wish me luck!

Collecting every JORDAN Star card

I’m working on building a complete “set” of all 26 Jordan star cards that were produced 84-86 (excluding the SAH fakes of course).

How many of these complete “sets” of every star Jordan card do you think exist in individual collections? If some of these have a print run of 5000 or less, how many collectors could have really hunted down and own all of them? More than 100 or less? Less than 50?

Interested to hear everyone’s feedback!

1984 Star 172 Magic Johnson

Hello!

I have a question concerning the 1984-85 Star "base" set. The #172 Magic Johnson has a very low number of copies graded -- I think only 207 total by BGS and 113 by PSA (likely with plenty of BGS-to-PSA crossover in the past 2 years). This seems like a really low number for one of the game's Top 10 players. Is this card a short print?

I think the 1983 Star base Magic might be a short print, but I now wonder about the 1984 Magic given the low number of graded copies.
