1948 Bowman George Mikan Autographed Card

The George Mikan ’48 Bowman rookie cards is one of the most valuable basketball cards in the hobby.  This autographed copy is only one of only 6 copies slabbed by PSA, according to Birmingham Auctioneers owner Scott Russell.  One of the last sales of an Authentic Mikan auto sold at REA back in 2018 for nearly $11K

1951 Berk Ross #1-11 Bob Cousy Autographed RC

I love this Cousy auto.  First, I’m a huge fan of Berk Ross cards in general, just super underrated in my opinion.  This example features a clear crisp autograph and is one of only thirteen autographed examples graded by PSA.

1948 Bowman #38 Buddy Jeannette Autographed RC HOF

Buddy Jeannette doesn’t get the same notoriety as other early basketball stars, but he was well regarded as the best backcourt player between 1938 and 1948.  Notably, this 48 Bowman Jeannette is another rare autographed cards, and is the only one ever slabbed by PSA! Card is a very sold VG/EX 4 and the autograph in blue ballpoint is an 8.

1948 Bowman #32 Red Holzman SGC 9 MINT HOF RC

This rookie card of Hall of Famer Red Holzman is the only SGC 9 in existence, notably there are no SGC 10’s. There are 7 PSA 9 Holzman rookie cards PSA 9’s and also no 10’s.  This one is a beauty condition wise and indeed a rare one.

Holzman is best known as the head coach of the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1967 to 1982

1952 Wheaties George Mikan PSA 8.5 NM/MT+

A cool, lesser known Mikan card, this 1952 Wheaties card of Mikan is the only PSA 8.5 with seven PSA 9’s and 2 PSA 10’s.  It’s actually one of the most affordable George Mikan cards in existence, although in this grade hard to say what the final value on this one will be.

1986 Fleer Michael Jordan RC HOF PSA 9

While maybe not necessarily rare, this PSA 9 version of Jordan’s Fleer rookie card is well centered, with minimal corner/border wear.   Jordan’s cards remain on fire, especially higher grade copies such as these.
