This was graded by psa but it came back as ?authtct and it wasn’t in a slab. I was wondering if it is real or fake?

Hey there PSA will return a card to someone with that "?AUTHTCT" note when they cannot authenticate a card.
Often times, sellers on eBay will post card with that same label, pleading ignorance as to the authenticity of the card.
I can tell you that I've never seen a card returned from PSA with the ?AUTHTCT designation that did not appear to be fake.
So this Ty Cobb card is 100% a fake. This Cobb with the 'Ty Cobb King Of the Smoking World' back is a very common counterfeit.
Very easy to spot due to the paper of the card which does not look authentic, very poor print quality and dull colors on the card.
